Postdoctoral fellow in the Research Group for Risk-Benefit Assessment, National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Sofie’s main research area is quantitative risk-benefit assessment of foods and burden of disease of food-associated chemicals. Sofie focused in her Ph.D. on the integration of food substitution in risk-benefit assessment. Her expertise in risk-benefit assessment and burden of disease estimation includes mathematical modeling and probabilistic methods in exposure assessment and health impact estimation.
